OXFORD APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT

Cosgrove & Drew played a critical role in the successful redevelopment of Lucy Faithful House - part of an initiative by Oxford City Housing Limited (OCHL) to create low carbon and affordable homes in Oxford. The project involved the conversion of a former accommodation for rough sleepers into 36 apartments in Oxford’s city centre. Currently nearing completion, Cosgrove & Drew is proud to have supported the construction project with energy efficient design solutions, including water services, pipework, and plant commissioning.

Collegiate AC

Supporting this award-winning provider of student accommodation, Cosgrove & Drew deliver expert advisory services to enable planned upgrades for their heating infrastructure; provide Planned Preventative Maintenance to maintain existing plant assets; and operate a 24/7 engineer call out service. We have also been able to solve an ongoing issue in one residence which left students with restricted hot water for over two years.

Futura Learning Partnership

Supporting eleven schools and two sport centres in the Bristol & Bath area, Cosgrove & Drew deliver a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contract, working to manage and maintain existing plant assets, while also working to upgrade to meet changing legislative standards, and futureproof with renewable energy solutions.

Reynard Mills

Reynard Mills is an exciting new development of houses and apartments situated in Brentford, a quiet residential part of West London. Notting Hill Genesis have released for sale 1 and 2 bedroom apartments from £365,000, as well as 3 bedroom houses each with private parking and garden from £750,000. (Full commercial/residential Mechanical installation).

Marina Gardens

Marina Gardens is a retirement housing development in the centre of the regenerated harbour area of Portishead, close to Bristol Comprising 127 flats (one and two bed) in six separate blocks, there is an internal courtyard, seating and raised sundeck facilities include a lounge, dining room, games room, cafe, hydrotherapy pool, gym and spa.

Cholmondeley Castle

Cholmondeley Castle is a country house in the civil parish of Cholmondeley, Cheshire, England. Together with its adjacent formal gardens, it is surrounded by parkland. The site of the house has been a seat of the Cholmondeley family since the 12th century. (Bio-Mass boiler installation).

Bartholomew School

Bartholomew School is a secondary school with academy status which is situated in the village of Eynsham, West Oxfordshire.

Manufacturing Facility

The Bristol branch focuses on the history of the aircraft industry in Bristol. From the ancestor firms of British and Colonial Aeroplane Company to Bristol Siddeley.

The King's Library

The Sloane Building unites contemporary design with large open plan living, individual terraces, galleries and high ceilings. Spread over five levels, there are two, three and four-bedroom apartments, some Apartments, Apartment 9 and the Penthouse, are spectacular 5-bedroom residences occupying whole floors. These exclusive apartments have breath taking views across the gardens of King’s Chelsea.

Eden Girls School

The Eden Girls' School project creatively reuses an existing three-storey 1980s office building to create a safe, secure and happy learning environment for an all-girls school, enriched by an inclusive faith ethos. (full commercial mechanical installation).

Redcar Hotel

Beside Henrietta Park and a 3-minute walk from Pulteney Bridge, this hotel comprised of 3, 1788 Georgian townhouses of which is now to being transformed into a 44 bed 4/5 star hotel.

Southampton Marlands House

Marland House is a brand-new, beautifully designed development of luxurious studio apartments in the very heart of Southampton’s vibrant City Centre. Marland House is an old civic center building of which has nine storeys. This was used as an old office block and has undergone a complete refurbished to make way for 105 luxury bedroom student accommodation with a gym and many other amenities. For this project, we were asked to complete the full mechanical and electrical installation including plant room.

Wesley Care Home

Wesley care home is a conversion from an old theological college. The site is now known as Wesley Care Home of which is a private care home for the elderly. Wesley Care Home comprises of 94 bedrooms. We carried out the full plant room room installation, mains pipework services throughout the building and also the full fit-out of all Sanitary Ware.

Bristol Zoo

Bristol Zoo is a zoo in the city of Bristol in South West England. The zoo's stated mission is to [maintain and defend] biodiversity through breeding endangered species, conserving threatened species and habitats and promoting a wider understanding of the natural world. We use Dashpivot by Sitemate for everything from how we handle variations, RFI’s, COI’s, Site Diaries, Q&A, Snags, Issue Management and much more. Dashpivot has allowed Cosgrove & Drew to grow as a business and the support from the team has been great.

Our Health & Safety and HR needs are all taken care of by the use of Citation an online platform with 24 hour support. We can raise Risk Assessments, Method Statement, Document H&S matters whilst covering all HR aspects such as contracts of employment, legal support, Holiday and absence monitoring. Citation have been great to work with and are always at the end of the phone.

Simpro is a key tool for Cosgrove & Drew as a business. Simpro allows us to project manage every project with absolute precision. We can track materials, labour, margains, invoice and report so we know where we are financially at any given time. Simpro are very easy to work with and happy to help when needed.
